The County Clerk is a state constitutional officer who is elected by the public (authorized buy Wisconsin Statute §59.23). The Clerk has both statutory and non-statutory responsibilities, including, but not limited to:

- County Board of Supervisors Support - Serves as Secretary
- County Records Retention - Permanent Record Keeper
