EVENT: September 12-14, 2024, at EAA grounds 

We are excited to announce that the 49th Annual MVPA-HA International Convention will be held in Oshkosh, Wisconsin, at the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) grounds, 12-14 September 2024. The Midwest Military Vehicle Association (MMVA), the Wisconsin affiliate of the MVPA will be hosting the Convention. Oshkosh offers a variety of fun events and attractions for all ages. Surrounding lakes, rivers and trails provide year-round opportunities to explore the outdoors and the inviting downtown district features all the amenities of a big city within a small-city setting.

About Us
Old Glory Honor Flight was founded in 2009 by a loyal group of volunteers based in Appleton, WI. We are dedicated to our mission of "Honoring Our Local Veterans One Mission at a Time" which includes all veterans who served prior to May 7, 1975.  

The Old Glory Honor Flight missions are completely free of charge to the veteran; we believe it's a meaningful way to say 'Thank You' for their service. Every detail of their day-long trip has the vets' best interest in mind to ensure they have a safe, memorable trip and one that conveys appreciation and admiration from our community. On each flight, we travel with trained volunteers who act as guardian escorts, a volunteer medical team, professional photographers and a host of others like the D.C. Park Police who ensure the veterans get the 'red carpet' treatment.

Angels to Heroes mission is to foster physical and mental well-being utilizing outdoor recreational activities to lower the rate of suicides and to combat the effects of post traumatic stress disorder and their mental illnesses within the veteran and first responder community.

Purpose:

Our purpose is to provide outdoor recreational opportunities to promote a healthy lifestyle in order to continues our commitment to our brothers and sisters in the veteran and first responder communities.

Wounded Warriors United - Wisconsin | website

We are 100% volunteer run.  There are no paid salaries here.  We want to be very clear of that.  All monies raised is for the organization and it’s mission. 

Wounded Warriors United of Wisconsin has been serving Wisconsin Veterans since 2015.  On January 1 2021 we became an independent 501c3 nonprofit and no longer needed to operate with the permission and id numbers of the original founder in Kansas.
