SERVICE OF LEGAL PAPERS
The Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office will serve all types of legal papers including family court papers, restraining orders, injunctions, writs, evictions, and subpoenas.
You MUST provide a valid address in Outagamie County for the defendant’s residence or work place. We cannot serve papers outside of Outagamie County.
There is a pre-payment service fee of $75.00 per defendant being served. There is no charge if you have a Waiver of Fee form from the courts and submit the waiver with the papers for service.
If you would like the Outagamie County Sheriff to assist in serving your papers, please either bring them in person to the Outagamie County Sheriff’s Office M-F between 8:00 am and 4:30 pm, or you can mail them to:

Please Include:
● Contact information for the person being served, including name, address, phone number, date of birth, and place of employment. Keep in mind when providing information regarding the person being served, the better information you provide for the deputies the quicker an individual can be served. (Please print and fill out the Civil Process Information Sheet below)
● The requesters contact information including name, address, date of birth, phone number.
● Two (2) copies of papers to be served for each person to be served.
● Payment or a copy of the Waiver of Fee form. ($75.00 per person being served) Make checks payable to “Outagamie County Sheriff”.
