Project Description: 

This project is for the design, right-of-way, and future reconstruction of this bridge structure to current standards upon completion of a jurisdictional transfer of WIS 15. This project will be funded by the Wisconsin Department of Transportation as part of the jurisdictional transfer.

 PROJECT JUSTIFICATION / OPERATING IMPACT: 

The existing bridge has deteriorated to the point where replacement is the most economical way to sustain the level of service expected by the public. The County maintains an ongoing program to repair and reconstruct county trunk highways and bridges. By having a scheduled reconstruction program, the County maintains a level annual financial commitment and avoids erratic highway expenditures. The project described above is part of this program. There is no material financial operating impact.
