This project is for design, right-of-way and replacement of existing bridge B-44-003 over Kankapot Creek. In addition, approach pavements, culverts, and other roadway appurtenances will also be improved, replaced, or upgraded to meet current standards. Federal funding has been awarded through the Local Bridge Program.

Construction planned to begin summer of 2024

The existing bridge, B-44-003 over the Kankapot Creek has deteriorated beyond the scope of a cost effective or practical permanent repair and is in need of replacement. The existing bridge also does not meet current roadway and bridge standards. The proposed project will reconstruct the bridge and approach pavements to address the deficiencies described above.
