The proposed project will replace the existing pavement and rehabilitate the highway to meet current standards and improve multimodal accommodations. The project limits extend from Givens Rd to Greendale Rd. The bridge over Black Otter Creek is also planned to be reconstructed.

The project is currently in the design phase. The project does not have a definitive timeline at this point but roadway construction is currently scheduled to begin in 2026 with utility work to begin in 2025.

The existing asphalt pavement has significant cracking and surface deterioration and the current cross section does not provide safe and efficient multi-modal options. The proposed improvements plan to address the deficiencies described above.
